Safety in the Water
Is Wakesurfing Safe?
Wake surfing is one of the safest water sports because the boat moves at slower speeds (typically 10-12 mph).
I prioritize safety by providing proper instruction, using the right equipment, and ensuring all riders wear life jackets.

What is the difference between wakeboarding & wakesurfing?
Wakeboarding involves riding on a smaller board while being towed by a rope the entire time, whereas wake surfing is done without a rope once you’re up and riding the wave created by the boat. Wake surfing also operates at a slower speed, making it a smoother and more relaxed ride.

"My friends and I had a great time learning how to surf with Gabe. He played all my favorite music while I was learning how to surf, was super encouraging and positive, and created a fun and safe environment for us. I can't wait to get back on the boat and try again." - Jaxton Miller
About Me

Spending my summers on Deep Creek Lake as a kid, I fell in love with the water and the thrill of board sports. Wake surfing quickly became my passion, and now I’m excited to share that experience with others.

I graduated from Western Colorado University with a degree in Psychology and Business. I have four years of experience working on Deepcreek Lake. When the lake is closed in the off-season, I spend most of my time snowboarding at different mountains around the country. Fun Fact I have been to 48 of the 50 states in the US.
